Explanations
The first number (C30/37) in the compressive strength class marking indicates the compressive strength of the 150*300 mm cylindrical test specimen. The second number (C30/37) indicates the compressive strength of a cube with a side length of 150 or 100 mm.
Concrete environmental classes describe the resistance of concrete to different environmental conditions. For example, frost resistance and resistance of concrete to anti-icing agents. The following table describes the differences between environmental classes.
